InfraRio é o substrato sobre o qual se constrói SuperRio. Ele vem a tona em forma de supererupções dos supervulcões. Tal substrato é composto pela superescravidão, que rege inconscientemente as relações humanas e estrutura a sociedade supercarioca.
As Supermídias têm papel primordial no ecossistema supercarioca, pois encenam, caracterizam e multiplicam as superficções. Atuam como inúmeras camadas nebulosas modificando a percepção da realidade. A camada inferior de névoa é composta pelos rumores – inclusive por meio das redes sociais –, e a camada superior destila a realidade, criando outra paralela.
Supertempos são reservas inextinguíveis para os enredos superficcionais, apresentando sempre uma face diferente em função dos seguintes ventos: Superfuturos – entidade multicéfala; o futuro plana sobre a cidade e apresenta seus rostos, como a capital do petróleo, a guerra civil, o paraíso ecológico, a cidade olímpica ou o apocalipse; Superpassados – imagem fruto do narcisismo da cidade, um dia capital do Império – glória que permanece suspensa no ar, reaparecendo sempre em nova perspectiva mitológica.
A Rosa dos Ventos gira em quatro direções opostas em função dos seguintes ventos superficcionais acionados pelas supermídias:
Supersexy é o principal produto de exportação. Talvez seja o vento superficcional mais famoso internacionalmente. Um mundo de beleza e sensualidade à flor da pele, propagado ao infinito pelas supermídias (por meio, por exemplo, das supernovelas). Ele nasce no contexto geográfico edênico isolado das outras civilizações, e se multiplica pela história constantemente.
Supermedo é a sombra que paira sobre a cidade e os habitantes. É um sentimento polimorfo que influencia o comportamento humano. Seu vulto é projetado pelas supermídias, tornando-se onipresente.
Supernatureza é a incorporação da pureza intocada da Natureza e do Homem. Um mundo virgem de selva e instintos a ser desbravado.
Supermundo é a imagem da cidade como metrópole mundial genérica; fantasia de progresso e modernidade sem limites, enfatizada por grandes eventos e projetos.
Provém da fundação da supernação com o lema ordem e progresso, estando hoje vinculada ao seu halter ego mundial. Ela se manifesta no espaço urbano sob forma de enclaves (SuperBarra, SuperPorto, SuperOlimpíadas e etc.).
Os Superestrangeiros decorrem do encapsulamento geográfico e mental extremo da cidade. São a encarnação da imagem que os Homens das diferentes partes e classes têm os uns dos outros:
Superrico, superpobre, supermoderno, superninguém, superbandido, superdecadente, superinexistente, superpreto, supersuperficial, superlúbrico, superidiota, supermoderno, superfeio, superconservador, superfavelado, supervulgar, e etc..
SuperSuperior constitui uma civilização, e se considera uma raça distinta. De fato, é quase uma mutação da espécie humana. Tem sua própria geografia – uma ilha virtual – e defende seu território arduamente.
Duas civilizações dicotômicas lutam pelo controle do espaço e da mente dos humanos: o Superimpério e a Supergaláxia. Cada uma é dotada de meios de comunicação, estratégias de combate, valores morais e estética próprios.
O Superimpério é uma máquina de batalha racional, comandada por superconsórcios, e a Supergaláxia é movida por impulsos descoordenados.
O objetivo do Superimpério é criar zonas de conforto e se expandir, criando corredores de superseguranças onde ele possa se locomover num mundo à própria imagem: liso, limpo, fluido, carregado pelo vento Supermundo. Ele se manifesta sob forma de enclaves herméticas no espaço urbano e possui colônias no mundo inteiro.
Do outro lado do Espelho Divino se encontra SuperDeus, uma dimensão paralela que contém a tradução divinizada de todas as superficções do SuperRio. É a sociedade paralela superfundamentalista. Os discípulos do SuperDeus se atiram numa supercruzada para empurrar o Espelho Divino para mais além possível e conquistar o universo supercarioca. Constitui um ecossistema complexo, repleto de guerras intestinas e com cosmogonia própria.
InfraRio is the substrate on which SuperRio is built. It consists of superslavery, which unconsciously governs human relationships and structures the society of SuperRio. InfraRio becomes manifest through supereruptions of supervolcanos.
The supermedia play a vital role in SuperRio’s ecosystem, projecting, configuring and multiplying the superfictions. They appear as layers of fog that change our perception of reality. The fog in the lower layer is made up of rumours – including those spread on supersocial supermedia – and the upper layer distils reality, creating another parallel that has the power to create, highlight or suppress events. This superreality mimics the city and the world, creating a social narrative where everyone has a role to play and changing the plot depending on the superfictional winds.
The supertimes are inexhaustible reservoirs for the superfictional plots. The mythological superpast competes with a superfuture that never comes, giving rise to a many-headed being, an ecological paradise, a super-Olympic and apocalyptic city.
The stunning beauty and prestige of the former imperial and republican capital have always served as a superinspiring blank projection screen for supermegalomaniac projects. The superpasts are images produced by the city’s narcissism, given that it used to be the capital of the Brazilian Empire. The former glory still lingers in the air and keeps reappearing in new mythological perspectives. Superhistory is written like the plot of a supernostalgic soap opera, whose countless episodes are constantly re-recorded, showing superimmigration, the supergolden years, the superbelle époque etc. Each era seems perfect and heroic, glossing over the infrapasts with a flood of superpositivist images.
The supermedia act on the windrose, which turns in four opposite directions depending on the following superfictional winds:
Supersexy is SuperRio’s main export product and maybe the internationally most renowned superfictional wind. It is a world of omnipresent beauty and eroticism constantly promoted by the supermedia (in the soap operas, for instance). It results from the endemic geographical situation isolated from other civilisations and is constantly reproduced by history.
Superfear is the shadow that hangs over the city and its residents. It is a complex feeling that influences human behaviour. The Supermedia broadcast its face to every corner of the universe. The shadow turns everything it touches into a superdoubt.
Supernature embodies the pristine purity of nature and humanity. It is an untouched world of woods and instincts that is waiting to be discovered. This wind is widely used as a calming force as it inspires the feeling of a profound, deep-rooted supersoul that creates harmony, beauty and poetry.
Superworld is the image of the city as a generic global metropolis, a fantasy of unlimited progress and modernity shored up by gigantic events and projects. It is built on the basis of the supernation and its motto “order and progress” and is now linked to its global alter ego.
The superforeigners are a result of the self-contained geographical and mental situation of the city. They embody the ideas that people of different areas and classes have of each other:
Superrich, superpoor, supermodern, supernobody, supercriminal, superdecadent, superinexistant, superblack, superfamous, supersuperficial, superlewd, superidiotic, superugly, superconservative, superdeprived, supervulgar etc.
SuperSuperior is a civilisation that considers itself above the rest of humanity. In actual fact, it is almost a mutant version of humanity. They have a geography of their own – a virtual island – and they fight tooth and nail to defend their territory.
SuperSuperior have developed supernatural forces to avoid mixing with other races, holding up a supereugenics throughout life, from the cradle to the grave, from generation to generation. They attend supercolleges, mingle in superclubs, live at superaddresses – all to maintain their own supersuperior race.
Two antithetic civilisations are fighting for control of people’s space and minds: the superempire and the supergalaxy. Both have their own means of communication, battle strategies, moral values and aesthetics.
On the other side of the Divine Mirror lies SuperGod, a parallel dimension that is home to the divine transformations of all the superfictions of SuperRio. It contains the whole of SuperRio’s society, its culture, fashion and traditions, in a superfundamentalist version. The disciples of SuperGod are rushing to take part in a supercrusade to push the divine mirror as far away as possible and to conquer the universe of SuperRio. It is a complex ecosystem with internal wars and an entirely different cosmogony.
